Some MLB players hit the golf ball farther than PGA professionals and even have the same tour player-making impossible shot abilities as Tiger Woods! Check out the list of some of the best golfers who also play in the MLB.
Aaron Hicks
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks is an avid golfer. He recently achieved a rare Triple Eagle on the par 5 18th hole at Big Canyon Country Club in Newport Beach, California. A triple eagle is when a player takes three shots less than par on one hole.
Although it’s not an official term, it’s often used to describe a hole-in-one on a par four or five. It was so impressive that Golf World Magazine wrote him up! Is it lucky to make a hole-in-one on a par 4?
To be able to drive the golf ball to the green on par 4 takes a lot of skill, after that, it's up to the golf gods to get it into the hole. Although, he didn't have another hole-in-one in the same round (The odds of having scored 2 holes in one in the same round) still very impressive by Aaron Hicks.

Minnesota Twins pitcher Shaun Lynch holds the record for most holes-in-one by an average golfer. He achieved his first ace when he was just 17 years old and has since gone on to hit seven more, including a tee shot from 290 yards away at Pebble Beach! Not bad for an “amateur golfer,” huh? Not only is he an ace on the mound but he is clearly an ace on the golf course when contacting the golf ball.

Philadelphia Phillies third baseman Mike Crean was once known as “The King of Long Distance Hitting” for his ability to hit home runs from longer distances than most other players. He also has quite a history with golf; he was once invited to play with Tiger Woods and went up against tour players making birdies on nearly every hole!
On top of that, he won one contest by hitting six consecutive balls within 25 feet of the green. His wedges are great for shorter-distance holes but even better than a lot of professional golfers on the longest hole.
Some of the best Major League Baseball (MLB) players are also skilled on the course. Through their hard work and dedication, many of these players are better than average golfers and have the best chance at getting a hole-in-one when playing the longest hole on the course.
Take Mike Trout for example; he is one of the best MLB players in the game today, but he's also an accomplished golfer who has recorded multiple hole-in-ones during his career.

The odds of getting a hole-in-one on a par 3 or par 4 are astronomical. I am a 2 handicap golfer and never have recorded a hole-in-one in any week of playing golf. You probably have a better chance of rolling a 300 in bowling than making a hole-in-one happen in your lifetime. Don't get discouraged if you don't ever make a hole in one ever. Just keep going out week after week and keep grinding.
